Chapter 3

The five girls started to sing "Baby I'm Yours" and the
record guys were blown away and they signed the girls right there
in the airport; saying that they could keep the name "Backstreet
Girls" as long as they went on tour with the boys to ensure their
global success.
The girls were ecstatic. They had never even imagined getting
signed to a record deal, let alone going on tour with the
Backstreet Boys. All the girls were hugging. Lissa looked at Nick
who had a devilish grin on his face.
"What are you going to do? I know that look..." laughed Alissa.
Nick wrapped his arms around Lissa in a great big hug and
lifted her right off the ground.
The girls and the boys laughed and giggled in the van on the
way to the hotel, each boy trying to get to know the girls better.
"How old are you guys?" asked Nick.
Madeline and Alissa looked at each other and then back at
Nick. "Guess," they said together.
"Hmm, that's hard... Jessica, I'd say 16. Brianna and
Natasha, 17," Nick said. He glanced at Jess, she was beaming
uncontrollably. "Maddi, 15 and Lissa... 15."
Alissa's face fell as she whispered silently, "I told you
so."
Maddi looked at Liss and then over at Nick. "Oh yea," she
said, "way bruise her ego."
"I'm sorry," Nick said. "How old are you guys really?" He
moved closer to Lissa who was sitting next to him and he put his
arm around her.
She looked up at him and smiled. "It's ok, I know I don't
look very old," she said leaning her head against his chest. She
laughed and said, "Would you believe that Anna and Tasha are 18,
Frick and Bone are 15, and I'm sixteen?"
Nick's face turned red and he said, "Oops!" Everybody in the
van started to laugh, including Nick.
The van slowly pulled up to the hotel and the driver handed
the guys sunglasses and hats.
They got out of the van and into the cool night air. "This is
the Prince George... I thought you guys were going to stay at the
Westin," said Jess in disbelief.
"Yea we were but everybody found out last time," said Kevin.
"We didn't want to risk it again."
"You've got a point," said Lissa.
They walked inside the hotel and the girls looked around in
disbelief. "I can't believe it," said Madeline looking around,
"this place is so beautiful and..."
"It's ours, for now at least," Alissa said finishing Maddi's
sentence.
After checking in at the front desk in the lobby they stepped
on the elevator that took them to the second floor.
They dropped their stuff off in the room and got changed so
that they could all take a quick dip in the pool.
